Interactive systems are at the heart of my creative ambition. Depth camera technology has existed for a long time, but it's implementation for immersive experiences often leaves a little to be desired. I devised a number of projects to showcase the possibilities for combining Unreal Engine with full body motion tracking, and applying that to various concepts, ranging from performance visuals to gamified experiences.
Along with this, I designed and developed a procedural environment system for a gameshow format pitch. The system used Unreal to generate an endless rolling road, dynamically displaying questions and answers on signage, which triggered the system to generate tunnels and mountains for the player to pass through.
